Panels that previously relied on multiple pushbuttons, indicators and meters can now be updated with one simple, affordable HMI. This super-bright, STN monochrome LCD with analog resistive-touch overlay has a resolution of 300 x 100 pixels, providing more screen real estate for data and operations. The 500cd/m2 illumination creates superior visibility, even in bright light. And for additional clarity and visibility, it supports 16 monochrome shades and has adjustable contrast.
Behind the screen, the panel depth is a mere 35.3mm, making the HG1F the best choice for narrow or limited spaces. Unlike some older HMIs, HG1F models can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and the display can be oriented to match your mounting.
Other key features of the HG1F include 1MB of built-in memory and built-in RS232 or RS485 and RS422 ports that enable communication with IDEC PLCs, as well as many other major brands. HG1F is capable of monitoring multiple controllers in various locations, or it can be included in an O/I link where multiple HMIs are connected to the same PLC for convenient monitoring.
All IDEC touchscreens are programmable with WindO/I-NV2, a simple, drag-and-drop, icon-driven programming software for Windows. It’s easy to learn, makes troubleshooting and simulation accessible to anyone and contains more than 5000 images for screen design.
