No micro PLC can offer you what Pentra can! Everything from Modbus TCP and email/text messaging functionality, to web server functions AND an interactive user web page with dynamic data. Not to mention free software upgrades, free technical support and local hands-on training, making these PLCs the best value in the market. The IDEC MicroSmart Pentra PLC with embedded Ethernet dominates the competition with the features you need to stay connected.
An easy-to-configure built-in Modbus TCP makes it simple to setup your controls network for remote maintenance, monitoring and control, and data acquisition. Up to 14 simultaneous connections can be established, ensuring you have all the information and control you need. Can’t be at your computer 24-7? Advanced email functionality means the PLC can keep you updated with emails or text messages of real-time dynamic data such as pressure level, flow rate, temperature and more. Plus these PLCs support email login authentication, so you can use popular email providers like Yahoo for instant access to accurate information on the go! If you need to see live updates and make changes to the PLC, just get your laptop to a Wi-Fi hot spot and login to an interactive user web page to remotely monitor and control parameters as if you were right in front of your PLC. Choose a built-in IDEC web page or utilize 1 MB of space to create your own page using simple commands in an HTML editor to embed numerical displays, numerical inputs, pushbuttons, bar graphs, trend charts and more.
Pentra is available in two CPU models with 12 I/O configurations (eight DC inputs and four transistor-sink or source outputs). Plus up to fifteen expansion modules can be configured. Additional features include a Mini-B type USB port, SNTP functions, PING functions, up to 128KB of programming memory (21,300 ladder steps), and up to 492 I/Os, and 100KHz high speed counters and outputs. These PLCs are cULus listed for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations ANSI (pending) and CE marked.
