Program Transfer Tool software offers a simple graphical interface for “drag and drop” of files between a PC and CNC control. Large part program files can be in put/output direct to data server storage. You can use the Embedded Ethernet for program transfer without setting up PC-based FTP applications.
GE Fanuc’s Program Transfer Tool is used for input and output of part programs and operator files between PC and CNC or data servers.
The software improves communication between a PC and up to 255 GE Fanuc CNC controls. A built-in Setting Dialog application is included to help setup and initial communication testing. Each machine setting allows the PC folder to be automatically opened for use when communication is started. This function eliminates the need to look for the proper PC storage location, and can ensure that proper part program files are used. Transfer of tool offset and macro variable tables are also supported. The product provides a fast and easy way to performing CNC program housekeeping and
data backups.
Program Transfer Tool may be used by several GE Fanuc control series including:
• Series 30i/31i/32i-A
• Series 16i/18i/21i-A/B
• Series 0i-B/C/D
• Power Mate i-D/H
The product requires Ethernet communication to the CNC control Series 18i/16i-B, 0i-D, and 30i/31i-A control series are equipped with Embedded Ethernet capability as a standard feature.
