Designers of hydraulic systems will have the opportunity to learn how to design safe, reliable and efficient hydraulics from a leading expert at the next National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) Educational webinar, to be held on July 19, 2012 (Thursday) starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern / 1:00 p.m. Central.

Preventing leakage in hydraulic systems

Presenter: Phil Robinson, Consultant, Parker Hannifin Corp.

External leakage in hydraulic systems represents not only fluid loss, with its attendant costs and safety and environmental concerns, but energy loss as well. Reliable sealing and proper system design can prevent this damaging leakage and improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of the hydraulic system. The presenter will share how ISO and NFPA standards, particularly NFPA/T2.24.2, can help people to design, build and maintain leak-free hydraulic systems.

The webinars are free to employees of NFPA members. For those from companies that are not members of NFPA, there is a $50 charge per webinar. Go to www.nfpa.com for more information and/or to register. Upon registration you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
