Mobile, AL, — N-TRON Introduces the 1000 Series family of industrial hardened entry level Gigabit Ethernet products. These products combine a 2 million hour MTBF, superior operating temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC, redundant power inputs, shock resistance, ESD protection, and RFI immunity to create the most durable gigabit capable unmanaged ethernet devices available. Speed, functionality, and industrial-grade toughness meets a remarkably compact package in the 1000 series. This family of products is truly built to be “the
last man standing” on your industrial ethernet network. The 1000 series includes 3 unmanaged gigabit devices:
1002MC 1000BaseT to 1000Base SX/LX Media Converter
1003GX2 Switch with 2 1000Base SX/LX ports and one 10/100/1000BaseT port
1005TX with 5 10/100/1000BaseT RJ45 copper ports.
The 1005TX is ideal for applications where multiple ethernet cameras, wireless access points or other data intensive devices are utilized and an economical unmanaged switch is suitable. The 1003GX2 is a good fit in areas
where a copper gigabit backbone is to be joined to gigabit fiber backbone. The 1002MC converts gigabit copper to fiber for longer distance runs and/or noise immunity.
These gigabit devices augment N-TRON’s 100 series family of unmanaged switches, iPOE power sourcing products, 10/100BaseTX to 100BaseFXBase media converter, remote access server, RS-232 to ethernet converter, and IP67 switches to form the most complete line of low cost, entry level ethernet products available.
