The product portfolio of Dunkermotoren provides for almost every requirement the right drive solution. Since decades the company from Bonndorf in the Black Forest supplies the public transport with a wide range of rotative drive solutions. The brushtype and brushless DC motors of Dunkermotoren can be combined with different types of gearboxes and accessories of the Dunker portfolio.
With an experience of more than 20 years in the field of tubular linear motors, the linear actuators set standards for performance, easy in mechanical integration and low in cost-of-ownership. Highly dynamic, precise, maintenance-free and with low noise the linear drives are an innovative approach for many linear movements. Especially the robust design and the high protection class IP67 characterizes the series Servo Tube.
Through the cooperation with the spindle manufacturer HaydonKerk within the AMETEK Group Dunkermotoren has been successful in extending the product portfolio of linear systems by linear drive solutions based on rotative motors. The maintenance-free production series LSM and LSG is also characterized by a high efficiency of the total system.
With the introduction of electrical cylinders CASM into the product portfolio, Dunkermotoren now provides further drive solutions up to a force of 5 kN at high speed. With the flexible adaption through assembly kits, pneumatic cylinders can be replaced with low effort.
Basically the different linear systems based on rotative drives allow an output range of 20 up to 1.100W, for speed up to 1 m/sec and load up to 30kN. The travel length can range from a few millimeters up to several meters.
For many linear movements in the low-voltage range of the public transport, Dunkermotoren already provides today customer-specific solutions. Combined with brushless DC motors with integrated electronic and bus interfaces the spindle drives are ready for use in the Internet of Things.
