The VisionPro® 7.0 machine vision software introduces Inspection Designer™, a function to simplify development and field maintenance of inspection applications. The software also adds the 1DMax™ barcode reading tool, as well as several new tool and acquisition enhancements. It offers three main benefits: Definition of Defects—an image grading utility to specify different defect types within each image; Verification—a tool to quickly confirm that the vision system is producing the desired results by comparing the grades of the inspection; and Field Maintenance—a verification tool for re-testing the inspection tools against the library of graded images to confirm that factory floor adjustments have not compromised a previously working inspection application. The program also supports the MVS-8602e CameraLink® frame grabber under the Microsoft® Windows® 7 64-bit OS for fast acquisition of large images that require large amount of memory.
