International Equipment Manufacturers To Demonstrate Integrated Industries Solutions Across Five Industrial Technology Events at IMTS 2016

By Marisa Martin | August 24, 2016

A growing trend of the Industrial Technology Events powered by HANNOVER MESSE at IMTS 2016 is the number of international exhibitors present on the show floor. Approximately 70 percent of the companies exhibiting at the five co-located industrial trade shows are headquartered outside of the United States. Industrial equipment and smart manufacturing solution providers from around the world recognize the importance of the North American manufacturing sector. Exhibiting at any of the five North American industrial technology events at IMTS 2016 offers them an unparalleled opportunity to promote their competitive, high-quality innovations to this market.unnamed-1

German Pavilions sponsored by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in association with Germany Trade & Invest will be located on the floor of Industrial Automation North America, as well as the inaugural Surface Technology North America trade show. A total of 46 German industrial equipment suppliers, or more than triple the number of German exhibitors from 2014, will be demonstrating their technologies across the floors of these trade shows. New to the events this year, more than 18 German companies will demonstrate surface treatment solutions at Surface Technology North America.

More than 20 Italian companies will showcase the latest fluid power and hydraulic & pneumatic equipment at this year’s Motion, Drive & Automation North America (MDA North America) and will demonstrate the latest Italian designed compressed air and vacuum technologies at the inaugural ComVac North America trade show. Additionally, The Italian Trade Agency, the Italian government agency promoting the internationalization of Italian companies abroad in line with the strategies of the Ministry for Economic Development, and Assofluid – The Italian Fluid Power Association, will highlight their member companies’ focus on research & development and emphasis on successfully addressing individual customer needs. Turkey also will have a strong presence this year at ComVac North America with nine companies demonstrating air compressor and hydraulic components.
Commenting on Italian-based Sotras decision to exhibit at the inaugural ComVac North America trade show, Executive Director of Sales Carlo Quaglino said, “ComVac North America offers us an extraordinary opportunity to open doors into the United States industrial market. U.S. manufacturers have signaled their interest in sourcing Italian-made quality filtration products. We see ComVac North America as an important chance to offer our specialized knowledge and our high-quality innovative, safe and reliable industrial filters for compressors and vacuum pumps.”
More than 16 exhibitors from India, as well as a host of solutions providers from across Asia also will be demonstrating smart manufacturing solutions across the five events.

“As a result of carrying over the “Integrated Industries” theme from this year’s HANNOVER MESSE event, visitors to the Industrial Technology Events co-located with IMTS 2016 will discover a number of international resources and solutions for enhancing performance, saving energy and expanding their digital factory footprint in the growing, competitive global economy,” said Larry Turner, president/CEO of Hannover Fairs USA, a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, the organizer of HANNOVER MESSE.
