International Fastener Manufacturing Exhibition joins Fastener Fair USA

By Michelle Froese | October 20, 2020

The Fastener Fair USA announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with the International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers’ Association (IFMSA), owners of the International Fastener Manufacturing Exhibition (IFME).

Under the multi-year agreement, the International Fastener Manufacturing Exhibition will join Fastener Fair USA, beginning with the 2021 show scheduled for June 22-24 (Conference: June 22 | Exhibit Hall: June 23-24), at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

“We are thrilled to welcome IFMSA as an official Association Partner of Fastener Fair USA,” said Bob Chiricosta, event director for Fastener Fair USA. “We’re excited to include their members and exhibitors from the International Fastener Manufacturing Exhibition, as they become part of our event in 2021.”

The IFME with its focus on technology for the manufacturing of fasteners and precision-formed parts will be incorporated into the show floor at Fastener Fair USA 2021 in Cleveland.

“IFMSA is honored to partner with Fastener Fair USA. Our members and buyers will find great value in the combined shows,” said Ray Zirkle, executive director of IFMSA. “The combination of the two shows brings fastener machinery, manufacturing, distribution, and end-users together for one comprehensive event.” Added Doug Zirkle, IFMSA sales director.

Following highly successful events in Cleveland and Detroit the third Fastener Fair USA returns to Cleveland’s Huntington Convention Center. The dynamic event includes a day-long educational program and plant tour, followed by a productive two-day expo geared to the entire spectrum of the fastener industry – manufacturing, processing, and distribution.

“Bringing IFME and Fastener Fair USA together creates a fresh approach to the fastener and fixing industry event cycle,” said Kate Scott, event VP. “This strategic collaboration will attract new and more attendees increasing the value to all exhibitors. Cleveland is the perfect setting to make this happen.”

IFMSA joins the ranks of more than a dozen industry organizations partnering with Fastener Fair USA, including the Fastener Training Institute, North Coast Fastener Association, Women in the Fastener Industry, Fastener Industry Coalition, and the Young Fastener Professionals.
