Learn more about PEM’s GHOST Magnetic Fastening Technology in this video.
GHOST Fastening Technology is ideal for achieving tight security and sleek aesthetics. This new PEM capability produces a fully concealed fastener with zero visible evidence of disassembly once engaged.
PEM is one of PennEngineering’s top brands, a global provider to the fastening industry.
How it works
PEM GHOST Fastening Technology uses a fully concealed, grip-lock mechanism to create a secure lock with zero visible evidence of disassembly once engaged. Using a magnetic release tool on the concealed fastener actuates the internal components, unlocking the pinch-lock grip and instantly releasing the pin from the fastener.
This means GHOST Fastening can be used in many industries. Examples include telecom, servers, security, access hardware, appliances, automotive electronics, and more.
