KNF Diaphragm Process Pumps

KNF diaphragm process pumps can easily be customized for application-specific duty in industries ranging from nuclear to petrochemical. Various materials, motor types, components, configurations, and options can be specified and integrated into the final pump design to deliver optimized and continuous operation in the most critical environments.

Custom solutions can include ATEX or NEC (Class 1, Division 1, Groups C&D) explosion-proof motors for applications where pumps will perform in hazardous locations; special elastomers can serve to withstand potential low-level radiation in nuclear facilities; insulated, heated-head versions can be supplied to promote effective exhaust emission and stack-gas sampling; and corrosion-resistant materials can be incorporated for sampling applications in the chemical industry where harsh conditions or moisture may persist. Double-diaphragm models can be developed as an effective safeguard to contain gases and prevent contamination.

Extensive KNF engineering experience with pump customization can deliver pumps “built to suit” the most demanding or unique applications across industries.

All KNF process pumps provide ideal systems for sampling, transferring, evacuating, or compressing gases. The pumps are electrically operated and oil-free to deliver reliable performance and uncontaminated media. Depending on type, KNF process pumps can achieve flow rates up to 300 L/min (10 SCFM), maximum vacuums up to 29.8 in. Hg, and maximum pressure up to 176 psig.
