At Crescent Industries, our expertise is in injection molding, and our core strength is engineering. Our engineers have a combined total of over 150 years in plastic materials, mold building, and molding experience. It’s one of our key competitive advantages – and can be one of yours. Our engineering staff works as an extension of yours. Offering Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback, but we don’t stop there. We incorporate mold fill simulation into our DFM analysis to virtually simulate the filling, packing, and cooling of a plastic part to identify potential problems in the part design, mold design, or processes in the early stages of development.
Once the customer approves the completed mold design, our design engineers pass it to our journeyman mold builders and machinists for fabrication. Our full-service tooling facility houses dedicated R&D Centers for setting and sampling new mold builds. As a member of the PMO team, the dedicated process engineer overseas producing FAIRs for approval and establishes the capable molding process parameters for production, making sure parts are made to spec every time.
Crescent also has in-house additive manufacturing capabilities to produce production-grade parts for prototypes, part samples, and small production runs. So, you can ensure your part functions as intended and can still make design tweaks while in the design phase providing you the ability to stay lean, competitive, and achieve speed-to-market.
Crescent Industries is an employee- owned custom injection molding partner providing an integrated, single-source solution for all your custom plastic components. Our advanced engineering capabilities are at the core of all processes allowing us to injection mold a comprehensive range of engineered and commodity grade resins. We serve over 100 customers by manufacturing 1500 custom products for the medical, pharmaceutical, dental, defense, electronic/electrical, and OEM/Industrial markets. Whether it’s engineering support for product design or implementing automated work cells to exceed projected demand, we always take the initiative to achieve wins for our customers.Crescent Industries is ISO 13485:2016 certified, FDA registered, and ITAR.
