KYOCERA AVX is a leading global manufacturer of advanced electronic components engineered to accelerate technological innovation and build a better future.

KYOCERA AVX manufactures leading-edge antennas, resistors, inductors, filters, connectors, fuses, sense/control modules and capacitors. Capacitor types range from ultrathin to traditional Multi-Layer Ceramic, MnO2 / Polymer / Wet Tantalum, Wet / Polymer / Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic, film, to Low-Resistance Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLC/ SuperCapacitors). These state-of-the-art components and modules are produced with the help of extensive modeling, 3D analysis, and crossfunctional teams, which combine materials, mechanical, and electrical engineering knowledge across manufacturing platforms.

Physical & environmental testing is used to define part capabilities and includes accelerated life testing at high voltage and extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, and humidity. Additionally, impedance spectroscopy (using low frequencies reaching the MilliHertz range) helps us understand electrical and chemical processes related to contact resistance, energy storage, and lifetime performance.

Electromagnetic testing capabilities range from far-field/half 3D anechoic chambers measuring from 600 MHz – 6 GHz, to a fully self-contained anechoic millimeter wave measurement system that tests wireless devices from 18 to 110GHz. In addition, traditional 2D and 3D destructive (cross-sectioning) and non-destructive (x-ray, acoustic microscopy) test capabilities are combined with FTIR, Raman, fluorescence, and electron microscopy to precisely characterize device structure and composition.

KYOCERA AVX is a leading global manufacturer of advanced electronic components engineered to accelerate technological innovation and build a better future. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyocera Corporation structured to capitalize on shared resources and technical expertise, KYOCERA AVX has an expansive global footprint comprised of several dozen research, development, and manufacturing facilities spanning more than 15 countries and staffed with talented personnel dedicated to innovation, component quality, customer service, and enabling a brighter future through technology.

KYOCERA AVX designs, develops, manufactures, and supplies advanced capacitors, antennas, interconnects, circuit protection and timing devices, sensors, controls, filters, fuses, diodes, resistors, couplers, and inductors optimized form employment in the international 5G, IoT, aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, medical, and military markets.
