Since its beginning, TLX Technologies has led the way in innovating solenoid products that transform and optimize the capabilities of new and existing systems.
The company was originally created to bring unique, highspeed digital valves to the automotive market for controlling the inflation of a vehicle air bag. At the time, there were reports of multiple child fatalities due to the excessive forces transmitted during airbag inflation, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was searching for a way to correct this fatal fl aw. TLX Technologies was the first to bring a safe solution to market.
Over the next 20+ years, this technology-centric company expanded to serve multiple additional industries, including the fire protection, industrial, and off-highway industries. The company was awarded their first patent in 1999 and has since been awarded many more.
In 2015, TLX Technologies was able to open a wholly owned subsidiary in China, enabling them to offer localized production in both the USA and China to better serve their clients around the globe.
Always on the cutting edge of solenoid innovation, TLX Technologies’ products are up to 25% smaller than competing designs, can withstand any necessary harsh environments, and minimize overall power consumption.
Thanks to critical capabilities such as 3D CAD design, in-house testing, and electromagnetic and fluid dynamic analysis, TLX Technologies can seamlessly partner with their customers’ design teams to develop products built for their customers’ exact needs.
Innovating Custom Electromagnetic Solutions
TLX Technologies is leading the charge in designing and manufacturing custom solenoid products. They use proportional, high-speed, high temperature, and latching technologies to custom design solenoids, actuators, and valves. TLX Technologies works with multiple industries, including the automotive, off-highway, industrial, and fi re protection industries. With over 150 years of combined solenoid design experience and multiple design patents, TLX Technologies’ strength lies in designing and manufacturing unique products specifically for their clients’ individual applications.
