TeamEDA Inc, a company specializing software license management tools, has announced the release of License Asset Manager (LAM) 6.0 with significant new functionality. License Asset Manager has been in industries for 7 years, and is used by such customers as Northrop Grumman, Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, United Technology Research Center, Elbit Systems, Tyco Electronics, IRF, Moog Aerospace, etc. LAM is managing license assets, including Vendor and product information, contracts, license inventory, renewal dates and costs.
The 6.0 release adds a new usage metrics (UM) piece for tracking FLEXlm license usage, and reporting current checkout status, historical usage for last 7, 30, 90 and 365 days or any custom time period. Denials, User Count, and a unique Concurrent-usage report is included. Feature usage is mapped to the products in the LAM database so you can assess usage at the product level.
The company claims it can import historical usage data from Flex Debug Logs, so migrating to License Asset Manager from some other “feature-only” usage collection tools should be relatively painless. The prices have also been reduced about 25% across the board.
