Croydon, PA – Macron Dynamics Inc. announces the addition of T-Slot Sensor Kits to the company’s line of actuator accessories. T-Slot sensors are designed for precise position detection in automation and robotics applications.

“Macron T-Slot Sensor Kits are the latest addition to our automation accessory product line,” said Craig Marshall, Executive Vice President at Macron Dynamics. “These are the same high-quality sensors our engineers use when manufacturing custom automation systems and they can now be purchased on Macron’s website.”

Macron T-Slot Sensors are inductive proximity sensors engineered for a seamless, low profile installation into the “T” found in Macon’s extruded aluminum beams used in belt actuators, screw actuators, MacFRAME machine framing, and gantry systems. The sensors will fit any 8 millimeter wide t-slot.

T-Slot sensor cord can quickly be disconnected

Installation is accomplished with a simple t-nut capture and screw that provides a secure fit and allows for adjustability. The attached cord, which relays information back to a control system, can be routed through the t-slot to produce a clean system with no obstruction of moving components.

T-slot sensors are 24VDC and available in PNP and NPN output transistor logic with NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) configuration. In addition, a quick connect/disconnect cord is included in each kit in lengths of 2, 6, or 12 meters. All sensors and mating cord sets meet NEMA 1, 3, 4, 6P, and IEC IP67 ratings.

Macron T-Slot Sensors can provide users with limit, position, or output signaling back to a control system making them useful for a wide range of robotics, single-axis, and multi-axis automation applications.
