One other key reason Infasco is unique, particularly in the fastener industry, is that it is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by both the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada).
“This is something to be very proud of in a sector that has traditionally been owned and operated by men,” shares Ana Isabel Gomez, sales & marketing advisor with the company. “The WBE certification is not easy to achieve.”
Holding a WBE certification means that a company has gone through a meticulous certification process to confirm that a business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
According to WBENC: “By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.”

“This starts with the raw materials,” explains Gomez. “For example, one of Heico’s businesses owns a mill in Ontario, where we source the metals used in our fasteners. So, we have the ability to track every single part of the manufacturing process, from the material chosen to the equipment used, to guarantee our customers reliable, quality products.”
Infasco also has a Quality Assurance Task Force, which continuously works to set new industry standards of excellence. The manufacturer operates an accredited ISO 17025 testing laboratory to verify and ensure strict adherence to product specifications. Additionally, Infasco’s quality-management system is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
