Minarik Corporation announced today that it has acquired AMPRO — Applied Motion Products. AMPRO, considered to be a leading motion control distributor in the Upper Midwest, has operations in Bloomington, Minnesota with additional coverage in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. The acquisition of AMPRO, increases Minarik’s already strong position in those markets by adding to Minarik’s existing locations in Eagan, Minnesota, Chicago, Illinois and Cleveland, Ohio.
