Advanced TECHNOMET 19-in. mini-rack enclosures are now available with a wide range of customization options. TECHOMET 19-in. table-top enclosures are designed for mounting standard 19-in. subracks, chassis and front panels. Applications include test and measurement equipment, networking and communications devices, sound and studio systems, laboratory instruments, industrial computers and control systems.

The standard heights are 3U, 4U and 6U (all 15.74-in. deep) but METCASE is now offering metcase 19-in technometTECHOMET 19-in. in custom heights of 5U, 7U, 8U and 9U and in custom depths. ‘Half-width’ 10.5-in. cases are also available on request.

METCASE also offers bespoke ventilation options. TECHOMET 19-in. has a ventilated base and rear panel as standard but can also be supplied with a vented top and/or sides (or no ventilation at all).

Bail arms that double as desk stands can also be specified as a custom option. The handles are indexable, enabling users to select the best viewing angle for the enclosure.

METCASE can also machine and finish the recessed rear panel (supplied) and front panel (accessory) so the enclosure is ready for the installation of connectors, switches and other components.

Custom colors supplement the standard light gray (RAL 7035) and anthracite (RAL 7016). Other customization services include fixings, inserts and digital printing of legends and logos.

All standard and customized TECHNOMET 19-in. enclosures combine diecast aluminum front and rear bezels, a folded case body and chassis and four snap-on cover trims to create a flush-fitting cohesive design with no visible fixing screws.

Inside there are two subrack/chassis support rails. All case panels are fitted with M4 threaded pillars for earth connections. ABS side handles are recessed for easy portability. Molded ABS non-slip feet are also included.

Accessories include 19-in. front panels, M6 caged nuts and fixing screws.
