Minneapolis, Minnesota — CIT Relay & Switch LP Series is now available with numerous new cap styles. Both the latching and momentary switch styles have additional choices to the already extensive cap options. The multitude of options include round, square, rectangle, and low profile. Some styles offer concave or convex tops and even ridged tops for excellent “grip.” These DPDT and DP4T switch body size start at the sub-miniature 6mm square x 10mm height. A variety of plunger heights mate with over 20 standard caps resulting in hundreds of color, style and height options.
Specifications: Tested electrical life of the LP Series is 100k cycles with electrical rating of 100mA @ 30VDC. The dielectric strength of the LP Series is 1000Vrms minimum with insulation resistance of >100MW minimum. Actuation force is 180 ± 50gF with travel of 1.5mm to lock and 2.5mm full travel. Operating temperature of -40°C to 85°C.
Materials: Actuator and cover are Acetal. Housing is 6/6 nylon. The latching pin and spring are stainless steel. The contacts are silver plated phosphor bronze with silver plated brass terminals.
