Minnesota Rubber and Plastics announces the appointment of Ken Pittman to the position of Sales Manager for North America.
Len Nunnery, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, announced the appointment stating that “Mr. Pittman possess a deep knowledge of the custom rubber component industry with over twenty years of successful industry experience. Mr. Pittman will be responsible for Minnesota Rubber and Plastics’ North American sales team and the associated metrics to achieve our projected compound annual growth rate.”
During his twenty-two-year career, Mr. Pittman has held positions at several companies in the rubber component industries. He held both engineering and sales positions with IER Fujikura of Macedonia, Ohio, a molder of custom elastomer seals. He then served as Product Marketing Manager for the O-ring Division of Freudenberg-NOK in LaGrange, Georgia. Most recently Mr. Pittman served as Automotive Account Manager at Vernay Laboratories in Atlanta, Georgia, a developer and manufacturer of fluid control devices.
Mr. Pittman is a graduate of the University of Akron Ohio, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. The university is noted for its focus on polymers, advanced materials and engineering.
