Schaumburg, IL– Misumi USA, Inc. announces an expanded line of precision grade ball screws, for use in various machine and assembly positioning station builds throughout the automation industry, all available for delivery. The highlight of this new offering is a left-handed thread style, Series BSL. This new series of left-handed ball screws is available in four sizes, with thread diameters of 8, 10, 12 and 15mm with corresponding leads of 2, 4, 5 and 10mm. The units are built from induction hardened and carburized steel, in lengths from 100 to 895mm lengths, configurable in 1mm increments to suit most any application. All are fully RoHS compliant.
Series BSL left-handed thread ball screws from Misumi may be ordered with various machined end and key groove options, offered at no charge or with a modest price add-on. Three grease options are also offered to accommodate various uses, including food processing. Eight-day shipping is standard. All pricing and specifications for these new left-handed ball screws are shown in the new 2009 Misumi catalog, now available from the manufacturer.
Further additions to the ball screw line from Misumi include Series BSX, of precision grade C3, with right-hand thread diameters of 6 or 8mm and lead of 1mm. Lengths from 80 to 255mm are configurable in 1mm increments. Series BSS and BSSK, precision grade C5 and C7, with right-hand thread diameter of 12mm and lead of 4mm, in lengths from 150 to 400mm in 1mm configurable increments, with Series BSSK further configurable on the thread end length and diameter. Finally, Series BSS/BSSK and BRS/BRSK, precision grade C5, with right-hand thread diameter of 25mm and lead of 5mm, are offered in 300 to 985mm, configurable in 1mm increments, with BSSK and BRSK styles further configurable on the thread end length and diameter. Series BRS and BRSK feature low-temp, black chrome plating for superior corrosion resistance and low light emissivity applications. All these ball screws are likewise RoHS compliant and most are available with standard six-day delivery.
Shaft and nut construction materials available include 1055 carbon steel, SCM415 or 420 alloy steel, AISI4150 steel and induction-hardened 58~62HRC, depending on the series selected.
