Designed for high-performance compact machines incorporating speed and position control functions, the Modicon M241 programmable logic controller is well suited to control multiple machines by leveraging dual channel communications for handling both upstream and downstream communications simultaneously.

The M241 controller offers best-in-class communication with 5 embedded ports, state of the art technical features and embedded CANopen for fieldbus architectures up to 63 devices. This platform offers unlimited access to the machine via Ethernet to simplify maintenance with visualization pages designed directly through SoMachine and stored in the PLC’s web server. Further, as many look to create mobile apps for their devices, the SoMachine environment makes that easier leveraging the user’s existing HMI programming knowledge to develop custom webpages hosted within the PLC, avoiding additional programming costs.
