Mouser Electronics is partnering with Anaren to stock its new family of FCC-, IC- and ETSI- compliant Integrated Radio (AIR) modules.
Anaren’s AIR product family incorporates Texas Instruments low-power RF technology to offer an elegant, ‘plug and play’ RF solution (each module’s footprint being smaller than a postage stamp) for electronic engineers challenged with adding wireless capability to new or existing devices. Applications for AIR modules range from industrial control, building automation, and low-power sensor networks…to lighting and equipment and appliances intended for inclusion in smart-grid scenarios (e.g. automated smart metering).
“Mouser is pleased to offer design engineers worldwide easy access to Anaren’s pre-certified RF modules for wireless designs,” says Russell Rasor, Mouser Vice President of Advanced Technology. “AIR Modules are among the industry’s easiest and most cost-effective way to implement RF capability.”
The move is Anaren’s first-ever initiative with Mouser, a global design-fulfillment distributor offering multi-channel sales via Web, mobile platform and catalogs. With its award-winning website Mouser.com, new MouserMobile and convenient catalogs, Mouser offers all three distribution channels for the highest level of customer service.
“For quite some time now, we and our long-time distributors have been leveraging the web to reach and supply our RF and microwave OEM customers,” says Mark Bowyer, Business Development Manager in Anaren’s Wireless Group responsible for the AIR line. “Working with Mouser takes this to another level yet again, and, as it relates to our AIR product line, also leverages Mouser’s excellent reputation and reach with a wider range of electronics manufacturers than we traditionally target.”
With its broad product line and unsurpassed customer service, Mouser caters to design engineers and buyers with 17 global customer support locations, delivering What’s Next in emerging technologies. Mouser offers customers the latest, most technologically advanced components for their newest design projects. Mouser Electronics’ website is updated daily and searches more than 8 million products to locate over 2 million orderable part numbers available for easy online purchase. Mouser.com also houses an industry-first interactive catalog, data sheets, supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, technical design information, and engineering tools.
E-OEM design engineers interested in learning more or securing applications assistance are encouraged to contact Anaren, the nearest Texas Instruments’ sales representative, or Mouser Electronics at http://www.mouser.com.
