Universal Laser Systems (Scottsdale, AZ) has announced the release of the XLS10MWH Multiwave Hybrid laser material processing platform as the newest member of the XLS product family. The XLS10MWH platform combines the laser energy from CO2 lasers of 9.3 or 10.6 μ and a fiber laser of 1.06 μ into the simultaneous delivery of a single beam — an industry first. By allowing laser configurations of multiple wavelengths, this technology opens up new possibilities for laser material processing. Features include:
- The ability to cut, mark, and engrave both organic and inorganic materials.
- An overall dimension of 69.2” x 61” x 54”.
- A UAC 4000 Air Cleaner & Fire Suppression Unit.
