Mobile, AL — N-TRON Corporation announces that its 708FX2 and 108TX Industrial Ethernet switches have been certified as Industrial IT Enabled by ABB — a global leader in utility and automation technologies.
ABB’s Industrial IT certification program ensures interoperability between software and hardware products and systems from ABB and third parties suppliers. Each Industrial IT Enabled product is formally tested and certified for compliance with standards relating to product information, interoperability and compatibility.
N-TRON’s 708FX2 fully managed Industrial Ethernet switch provides six RJ-45 copper ports and two 100BaseFX fiber ports. The switch provides advanced management and monitoring features including IGMP Snooping, VLAN, QoS, Trunking, Port Mirroring, RSTP, DHCP, and N-TRON’s N-Ring Technology. The 708FX2 comes in an industrially hardened, space saving design at a very affordable price.
The 108TX, a low cost, unmanaged Industrial Ethernet switch designed for reliability in mission critical data acquisition, control, and Ethernet I/O applications in harsh environments, provides eight 10/100BaseTX copper ports, an extended 40ºC to 70ºC operating temperature range, and MTBF of over two million hours. The 108TX supports full or half duplex operation with up to 1.0 Gb/s maximum throughput.
N-TRON’s broad range of hardened Industrial Ethernet products, including the 708FX2 and 108TX, are available through N-TRON’s worldwide distribution network.
