ND Industries is a fastener manufacturer and a fully integrated company. This means that it makes the materials, builds the application equipment, and handles all aspects of operations — from formulating custom chemical compositions and coating fasteners to providing advanced in-line inspection, packaging, and delivery services.
ND also offers fasteners with pre-applied adhesives, sealants, or other required coatings.
Its team can help with:
- Selection: The R&D staff will help find the ideal pre-applied process to meet the application and performance specifications.
- Processing: Once a selection has been made, the fasteners can be shipped to one of ND’s worldwide processing centers. Using custom, high-speed equipment, ND will apply the necessary materials to your exact specifications.
- Distribution: Once this processing is complete, parts are shipped back ready for distribution or assembly.
ND Industries’ Pre-Applied Application Centers are where it comes together. Once a customer has selected the product that meets their specifications, un-coated fasteners are shipped from a manufacturer or distributor to one of ND’s 13 worldwide divisions or licensees.
Once onsite, ND’s team carefully direct and monitor each part as it is processed — sometimes for multiple materials. To maintain consistent quality, ND divisions operate under strict ISO or AS certifications and, if appropriate, use smart factory technology. This includes vision-inspection systems for in-process checks.
In addition to standard products, ND also offers services like part sorting, color coding, and even partial assembly, specially designed to make subsequent assembly simple, fast, and more accurate.
