METCASE has launched a new extra-deep 24” version of its bestselling COMBIMET 19” enclosures which are perfect for server rack type applications.

COMBIMET is METCASE’s bestselling range of aluminum 19” rack cases. Applications include networking, communications, AV and studio systems, laboratory instruments, industrial computers and control systems.

The new cases are 24” (610 mm) deep – significantly deeper than the existing standard depths of 10.43” and 14.37”. The new depth is suitable for deep 19” racks, for example 39” (1,000 mm).

All COMBIMET enclosures offer complete access to the PCBs: the top, base and rear panels are removable. The top and base can be specified as either vented or unvented. Other features include ergonomic front panel handles and mounting holes for PCBs and chassis. M4 earth studs on all components ensure electrical continuity.

The new models are available in all heights from 1U to 6U and are painted in black, RAL 9005. The front panels are also in black. Cases are supplied fully assembled. Prices for the new models start at $199.

All COMBIMET cases can also be supplied fully customized. Services include CNC punching, folding, milling, drilling and tapping; fixings and inserts; painting and finishing, digital printing of legends and logos.
