This acquisition marks the fifth transaction in the past 12 months for Novaria.
Novaria Group — a manufacturer and privately held business focused on fastener, precision-component, and service companies that deliver to the aerospace and defense industries — has acquired substantially all assets of Hohman Plating.
Established in 1918, Hohman Plating provides metal finishing and coating services to a broad base of industries, including aerospace, medical, defense, electronics and others. It is recognized as one of the top shops of metal finishing in North America and globally.
“We are thrilled to have Hohman as a valued resource and partner as we continue to expand our operations,” said Novaria CEO, Bryan Perkins. “The impressive approvals in metal finishing and proprietary coating options Hohman provides are unmatched in the industry and are fundamental to the customers we serve.”
This acquisition marks the fifth transaction in the past 12 months for Novaria as it continues to develop its family of aerospace and defense capabilities. The Hohman Plating acquisition is another instrumental step forward in the expansive growth of Novaria’s suite of aerospace components and proprietary coating solutions.
“Hohman Plating’s capabilities further enhance our position in the aerospace and defense market,” said Justin Tucker, Novaria CFO. “We look forward to reinforcing our strength as a valued partner that provides quality services and a diverse set of products to our customers.”
Hohman Plating will continue to be based in Dayton, Ohio. Novaria Group is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
