This motor family has a small outer motor diameter of 1” and a length
of 0.5” to 1” and is designed for applications where little space is
available, such as building automation, climate control, office
equipment, pumps, fans, and medical devices. The 3-phase brushless dc
motor includes 3 hall sensors for exact positioning and smooth running.
Due to a 12-pole design, a positioning feedback of 36 pulses per
revolution without additional encoder is possible. By using the latest
brushless dc motor technology, the motor is able to produce a
continuous maximum power of 3 W and efficiency values of more than 70
%. The motors are equipped with 2 high-end NMB ball bearings which
guarantee a high lifetime. Because of the brushless technology no
wear-out of brushes happens and only a very low RF-noise level is
produced that makes EMI problems insignificant.
