Anoka, MN–Hoffman announces POLYPRO™ Type
4X Polyester Enclosures for housing electrical and electronic controls in harsh
environments. The robust enclosures provide excellent corrosion protection, flame
resistance and ultraviolet protection in both indoor and outdoor applications.
POLYPRO Enclosures include features for easy assembly and mounting, and the durable,
yet flexible polyester material is easily modified to meet a wide range of application
needs.

POLYPRO enclosures are available in a variety of sizes ranging
from 6 x 4 x 4 inches to 18 x 16 x 10 inches and feature non-glass filled
polyester construction, providing numerous advantages over alternative non-metallic
materials.
POLYPRO
Enclosures are UV stabilized and chemically resistant to a broad range of solvents,
alkalis and acids. The lightweight POLYPRO enclosure series also delivers excellent
water
absorption resistance for reduced swelling and offers impact resistance up to
ten times greater than fiberglass. POLYPRO Enclosures are easily modified to
include holes
and cutouts, tapped holes and colors. Plus, POLYPRO Enclosures
are recyclable.

The POLYPRO enclosure series is available in 10 solid door and 10
window door models featuring an external snap-together body and cover
for easy assembly, and an overlapping tongue and groove raised cover
with a seamless foam-in-place gasket for a secure seal. In addition, a
molded layout grid on the inside of the cover and body assists with
component mounting, and an integrated rail system allows for easy panel
height adjustment. Plus, POLYPRO Enclosures meet UL and CSA Type 4X,
IP66, and several additional industry standards, and they are RoHS
compliant.
