Weidmuller announces the expansion of their Industrial Ethernet Portfolio with the introduction of BasicLine, ValueLine and PremiumLine switches. This new series features a full line of Unmanaged, Lean Managed and Fully Managed switches with a variety of options for Gigabit, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Media conversion. These rugged, industrial grade solutions include high quality IP30 rated metal housings, vibration-resistant construction, hazardous area approvals and extended operating temperatures from -40ºC to +60ºC.
Weidmuller’s BasicLine consists of Unmanaged, Plug & Play switches protected in a robust IP30 aluminum housing. The compact design offers a cost-effective, entry solution with simple installation. Fast Ethernet versions are available with 5 and 8 ports and all versions feature cULus Listed Class 1 Div 2 and ATEX approvals.
Weidmuller’s ValueLine, also housed in IP30 metal enclosures, offers both Unmanaged and Lean Managed switches. The Unmanaged, Plug & Play versions feature a full Gigabit switch with five, six or eight ports. Lean Managed switches support a variety of helpful management functions, such as fast ring redundancy and bandwidth management, and are available with Fast and Gigabit Ethernet ports. The ValueLine switches are cULus Listed Class 1 Div 2 and ATEX approved, and the Lean Managed versions all feature an extended operating temperature of -40ºC to +60ºC.
Weidmuller’s new Industrial Ethernet Switches
Weidmuller’s PremiumLine consists of Fully Managed switches with advanced management and security features. Suitable for demanding network solutions, these switches are available with Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet ports. One version is fitted with six Fast Ethernet ports; four of these are PoE+ ports. Through Weidmuller’s advanced ring redundancy technology with recovery time ≤ 20 ms, the PremiumLine increases the reliability and availability of industrial networks.
All of Weidmuller’s new switches come with a 5-year warranty and worldwide approvals including ATEX, cULus, GL and DNV.
