The new Marson HP-4×4 Multiplex Hand Tool allows a single tool to set in a variety of sizes of aluminum and steel material rivets and rivet nuts.
Howmet Aerospace recently introduced its newest Marson rivet and rivet nut installation tools, designed to deliver performance and versatility to any shop or production floor.
The unique HP-4×4 multiplex hand tool installs a range of rivets and rivet nuts, making it a useful addition for transportation and aftermarket service suppliers.
The AH-250 pneumatic riveter uses standard Huck nosepieces or a newly engineered nose assembly with several nosetips to install different types and sizes of rivets.
Howmet has also upgraded the HP-3 with the HP-5 and updated the swivel-head hand riveter, with the new SP-2.
One tool. Multiple applications.
The Marson HP-4×4 Multiplex Hand Tool features a new, patented design that allows this single tool to set in a variety of sizes of aluminum and steel material rivets and rivet nuts.
The adjustable jaw system and variety of mandrels, sockets, and nosepieces are easily changed to set:
- Blind rivets up to 3/16″ diameter
- Rivet nuts up to 1/4-20 size
- MET series external thread stud rivet bolts up to 1/4-20
- MQN series (known as jack nuts) and MXN series rivet nuts up to 1/4-20. Kit (M39410) — which now comes in a molded plastic case with a small box to hold parts and adjustable jaw system
Versatile, industrial power riveter
The Marson AH-250 pneumatic riveter (M39510) installs a wide variety of industrial fasteners using standard, Huck nosepieces and the new Marson Universal Nose Assembly (MUNA-8), which quickly sets many different styles of blind rivets.

Professional hand riveter
The HP-5 hand riveter replaces the popular HP-3 with powerful riveting capacity and the ability to hold rivet in any direction needed for installation. The tool includes four standard nosepieces to set 3/32″, 1/8″, 5/32″, and 3/16″ blind rivets in all alloys.
It also features a drop-forged steel handle with heat-treated aluminum body with a steel insert, high-quality powder coated finish, and a special alloy-steel fulcrum pin with anti-wearing design, with durable jaws and jaw case.
Swivel-head rivet tool
The SP-2 360° swivel head rivet tool features a patented positive-ratchet locking feature that allows head to turn 360° and lock in place at any of the 45-plus positions.
A patented Rivet Size Hole Gauge eliminates selection of the wrong size rivet size for a nosepiece. It’s ideal for riveting in difficult places at any angle. The SP-2 includes four nosepieces, built-in storage holes, a service wrench, and sets up to 3/16″ steel rivets.
