Trans-Tek has developed a new oscillator/demodulator signal conditioner to provide DC-in/DC-out operation for AC LVDT’s. The ED Series is internally regulated for additional stability of the output signal. Its new design simplifies installation for 35mm DIN Rail and Panel Mount applications.
This oscillator/demodulator employs an excitation frequency of 3 kHz or 7 kHz. A variety of voltage outputs are available as well as 4-20 mA; all with zero offset and span adjustment. Connection is by 35mm DIN rail panel mount. Accuracy is to 0.05% maximum over the linear range. Frequency response is 500 to 1000 Hz. Operating temperature is from +32˚F to +158˚F and excitation voltage is 22 to 30 VDC.
Trans-Tek was formed in 1967 to manufacture a broad line of Linear & Angular Displacement and Linear Velocity Transducers. The company has grown from a small startup to a multimillion dollar manufacturer, and now operates from a 14,000 sq. ft. facility. All transducers are manufactured in Ellington, CT.
