Newark element14 has announced the launch of an easy-to-use, visual product configurator, designed to help engineers more easily find and purchase the complete line of Schneider Electric 22mm pushbuttons, pilot lights and selector switch assemblies, including contact blocks and legend plate accessories.
Engineers can now visually select the right operator type from the configurator’s guide, or upload their own parts list at http://www.newark.com/schneider-electric-pbs In either case, the tool will then display all associated parts of the assembly, which can be sent directly to a shopping cart or saved as a PDF file.
Matthew O’Kane, vice president of office management and digitization at Schneider Electric comments, “Today’s accelerating digital transformation is impacting all facets of our society, including the industrial automation industry, and the need for online product selectors and configurators is clearly evident. As such, we are committed to embracing this technological shift by providing industry-leading and app-based visual product configurators, as well as energy and cost-savings calculators in order to empower our customers to become more energy efficient as quickly and easily as possible. This effective collaboration with Newark element14 to deploy this very innovative tool was refreshing and a testament to their commitment to enhancing and improving the customer experience.”
