VisualSizer-Professional is a generic servo motor sizing and selection software. The internal motor database includes the data of 6000+ motor/drive/amplifier combinations provided by manufacturers such as Allen-Bradley, AMK Drives, AutomationDirect, Automation Intelligence, Baldor, Bayside Motion Group, Dynetic Systems, Festo, GE Fanuc, and others. It also offers a database editing tool to add, delete, and modify motor information.
VisualSizer-Professional software has been used and tested by many manufacturing companies such as Parker Hannifin, AC-Tech-Lenze, GE Fanuc, Siemens Energy & Automation, Oriental Motors U.S.A., Schneider Electric, Baldor and Moog.
The product calculates the torque, speed, and inertia requirements according to your application specifications, processes all motor data from the database, and creates a list of all motors that match requirements. VisualSizer-Professional selects the optimum motor and other components such as gearboxes and leadscrews. Using it, you can define a velocity profile and start the calculations. The program will list all motors that match the application requirements and print a report.
VisualSizer-Professional runs under Windows 98-SE/ME and Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista. As a supplement to the software, ‚“A Comprehensive Guide to Servo Motor Sizing‚†book by Winifred Voss is available. It explains inertia and torque calculations, S-Curve generation, and other points that VisualSizer-Professional addresses.
