Itasca, IL – Sugino Corp. introduces the latest advancement in their widely successful Selfeeder line, the MS7 Mechatric. The MS7 delivers a dramatic increase in the depth and diameter of drilled holes in ferrous and non ferrous metals with the same accuracy and repeatability that the Sugino Selfeeder is known for.
Featuring a powerful 3.7kW spindle motor and 7,800N thrust, the MS7 is capable of facing, end-milling, drilling 28mm diameter holes in steel and up to 32mm holes in cast iron while achieving tight tolerances. With its long 200mm stroke and maximum cutting speed of 16.7mm/sec the MS7 brings heavy duty material removal into Sugino‚’s realm of cost effective high speed machining. Its servo feed motor with infinite control capability allows the MS7 to perform in a wide range of variable feed applications including: slower enter feeds, pecking in deep holes, and reduced exit speeds to reduce burrs. The drilling unit comes complete with the servo motor CNC controller which allows programming from a programming console, touch panel or a personal PC.
The MS7 is particularly effective at producing high volume work for a lower cost per hole vs. expensive machine tools. Greater machine flexibility is also achieved by incorporating Sugino‚’s innovative Multi-Spindle heads, which maximize productivity while cutting your net cost per hole. The compact 17‚†x 41‚†footprint conveniently fits into tight spaces on your production line, allowing you to generate more money per square foot in your facility.
