New video — Internet of Things (IoT) in linear motion

By Lisa Eitel | February 2, 2016

The latest trend in machinery design is to take advantage of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its many benefits. Internet connected “smart” technology is found in connectivity, control, and automation throughout industrial machinery and applications.

PBC Linear recently released a new technical video — Internet of Things in Linear Motion.

The Internet of Things video provides an intuitive presentation of key advantages, including:

• Simplified wiring and panel size reduction

• Recipe-driven machine configurations

• Simplified commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance

More after the jump.
