Howmet Aerospace recently added the VKM1040-1AGV to the quick-release fastener series it offers from Camloc. This one-piece fastener is slightly larger than the previous version, the VKM921.
Both options are simple to use and provide quick and easy installation without the need for tooling.
The VKM921 is captive and does not require a receptacle. This means that when preparing for installation, only a hole and slot are required. To close the fastener, just pull the handle upwards, turn it 90 degrees, disengage the handle and fold it flat.
This fastener is ideal for sheet metal and panel applications.

To install, simply pull, turn, and close and fold the handle.
