Newark element14 has announced an agreement with Lapp USA, that builds on its strong wire and cable line card. Premier Farnell also distributes Lapp products through its Farnell element14 business in EMEA and element14 business in Asia Pacific. Nearly 300 Lapp products are now available to Newark element14 customers on its website, including the ÖLFLEX brand.

newarkLapp’s ÖLFLEX line provides flexible, oil-resistant solutions for a variety of environmentally challenging conditions, including photovoltaic plants, HVAC, chemical industries, food and beverage industries, automotive, and more. The ÖLFLEX portfolio of highly flexible cables for control and power applications are designed to withstand dry, damp and wet conditions and the rigors of even the most demanding factory automation applications.

According to Mike Ulch, Head of Product, Electromechanical, Interconnect, and Passives for Newark element14, “Customers are increasingly coming to us for products that help them bring their industrial designs to life, and Lapp’s family of cables helps meet this need. Lapp’s extensive line of cables further deliver flexible control to help streamline production and reduce potential downtime for our customers.”

With the addition of Lapp to its product range, Newark element14 now carries over 33,000 unique products, including coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, hook up wire, multi-conductor cable, multi-paired cable, networking cable and ribbon cable. Newark element14 also provides its customers with solutions for cable management and cable assemblies from hundreds of manufacturers.

Lapp products are available from Newark element14 in North America, Farnell element14 in Europe, and element14 in Asia Pacific.
