Nitto Kohki low-pressure Cube Cupla fluid couplings

By Lisa Eitel | November 9, 2019

Share

Nitto Kohki offers a full range of low-pressure Cube Cupla fluid couplings that connect to hose with hose barbs, threads, or trans-panel mounts. The plastic-resin couplings include NBR seals to reliably join air and water lines to 10 bar of pressure. Both the sockets and plugs for the fluid couplings come in valve and valveless types. When valveless sockets or plugs are used, fluid will flow out upon disconnection.

Sockets and plugs snap together with an audible click; pulling them back apart requires depression of a lock-release button on the socket side. The lightweight plastic couplings come in five color variations so users can easily confirm the plug nipple and socket lock-release button match before joining the coupling halves. For more information on the medical applications for this product, visit this deep link at medicaldesignandoutsourcing.com and check out this video:

In fact, the compact Cube Cupla couplings are suitable for wide range of applications — including those in medical and scientific equipment as well as beverage machines and semiconductor-manufacturing devices.
