These distributors, along with Arrow and Future Electronics, provide engineers with greater access to NKK’s powerful design tool through multiple avenues and stocking locations.
The SmartSwitch Development and Demonstration Kits are helpful tools for prototyping and developing new product designs. NKK and their authorized sources offer the kits to ease and expedite the design process, and to help reduce associated development costs. Design engineers can log on to www.nkksmartswitch.com to check the availability for the different types of development and demonstration kits offered, and distributor’s current inventory levels. Orders for the kits can be entered with their distributor of choice.
Additionally, engineers can utilize the Design Online feature that allows them to use their development kits to test the text, graphics and functionality of the switches and/or displays. When completed, design engineers’ programs can be downloaded into the development kits. This unique functionality enables the engineer to easily present concepts and new product ideas to their team and clients.
