These new inserts prevent  “hot plugging” by featuring a special pin-layout design with lagging contacts in the smallest possible installation space of approx. 20 mm. Thanks to lagging signal contacts, the full connection status can be distinguished and a secondary switch off can be installed.

This rules out both mating and demating of the high-voltage connector under load and ensures the long-term functional and operational reliability.
