AFC Industries, a provider of fastening and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) solutions, has acquired TFC. For more than 60 years, TFC has been a top supplier of industrial fastening products and services, supplying customers via a network of UK and European locations.
TFC is also a provider of VMI solutions and technical engineering products, making the two businesses an ideal fit. TFC will continue to be run by its current management team and will now be known as TFC, an AFC Industries company.
“We have been looking for some time to be able to better support customers in Europe, but it was crucial to find the right team who shared AFC’s values and bias for execution,” said Kevin Godin, CEO of AFC Industries. “We recognized in TFC a similar commitment to customer service, team culture, and execution that have been central to AFC’s success. We are excited to have Morgan and his team join the AFC family and to be supporting them in their continued growth.”
Headquartered in Fairfield Ohio, AFC Industries is dedicated to providing supply-chain management solutions for fasteners, tooling, and assembly components to original equipment manufacturers, assembly plants, and other users of these products.
“I believe the two businesses are a natural fit for one another, and with AFC’s significant backing, TFC will further strengthen its operational reach in existing territories and expand into new regions across all of Europe,” said Morgan Burgoyne, CEO of TFC. “I am really excited about this new chapter for TFC and the growth opportunities it will bring for all parts of our business.”
