OMRON to show LD-150 and LD-300 AMRs at Automate

By Puja Mitra | June 11, 2026

OMRON Robotics will demonstrate new LD Series autonomous mobile robots, the LD-150 and LD-300, at Automate 2026, scheduled for June 22-25 at McCormick Place in Chicago. At Booth 3080, attendees will see the robots used in material transport applications.

The company said the new models are expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2026. The additions to the LD Series are intended to provide higher payload capacity along with updates to safety and performance features.

Unlike automated guided vehicles or fixed-path systems, the AMRs are designed to operate in changing layouts and around people and workflow changes. OMRON said the systems are intended to help reduce manual transport and support material flow without major infrastructure changes.

Built for higher-throughput material transport

The expanded lineup adds updates in performance, uptime, navigation and fleet integration for material transport in production environments.

  • Payload capacity of up to 150 kg in a 500 mm-wide footprint for the LD-150 and up to 300 kg in a 580 mm-wide footprint for the LD-300
  • Travel speeds up to 2.1 m/s and wireless inductive charging in 30 minutes or less
  • Navigation designed for changing environments, including support for facility transitions such as 5-degree grade ramps
  • Safety scanner coverage up to 360 degrees, ISO 3691-4:2023 compliance and support for FLOW Core software to manage deployments alongside existing LD Series robots and other OMRON mobile robot fleets

End-to-end automation from one supplier

Visitors to Automate will also see how OMRON’s portfolio connects mobile robotics, machine control, vision, safety and data in integrated production environments. Demonstrations with ROEQ and NORD Modules will show AMRs, topper systems and related technologies in manufacturing and logistics workflows.

Featured solutions on display include:

  • AMR demonstrations with topper systems for material transport and handling applications
  • Sysmac platform connectivity for robotics, vision, safety and production data across automation systems
  • VHV5 Vision System and MTC demonstrations for inspection, quality control, compliance and performance verification
  • DX100 and video-based displays for data collection, predictive maintenance, operational optimization, IT/OT integration and AI-supported decision-making
