Optimas Solutions, a global industrial manufacturer, distributor, and service provider, announced that it has been awarded the number 20 spot on Industrial Distribution’s 2020 Big 50 List. Released in early October, the Big 50 is a prestigious list of industrial suppliers in the U.S. ranked by the previous year’s revenue.
As part of the announcement, Industrial Distribution released the Big 50 video countdown. In the video, Optimas’ history is highlighted, dating back to 1890 — including its e-commerce site and its 2018 acquisition of Circle Bolt and Nut as noteworthy accomplishments.
Additionally, it notes the rollout of Optimas’ new fastener market strategy that focuses on greater customer intimacy, service innovation, a new sourcing approach, advanced manufacturing, and a faster quote-to-order process.
“It’s an honor for Optimas Solutions to be named to Industrial Distribution magazine’s Big 50 List again,” said Marc Strandquist, president of Optimas North America. “Recognition like this is evidence that our approach and solutions are having a positive impact on our manufacturing customers and supplier partners.”
The Big 50 List provides a snapshot of the big players in this market and is based on a survey.
