DEWALT continues to expand its innovative FlexVolt Advantage line with the new Compact Stud and Joist Drill, which delivers up to 83% more power when using a DCB609 battery pack.
DEWALT, a provider of complete job-site solutions, released the new 20V MAX* Brushless Compact Stud and Joist Drill with FlexVolt Advantage technology. The DeWalt FlexVolt Advantage provides a significant power boost to these tools.
Drilling up to 495 7/8-In. holes per charge, the tool is the latest to join the lineup of 20V MAX* products, maximizing performance when used with high-capacity FlexVolt batteries.
When paired with the DEWALT’s DCB609 battery, the drill outputs more power and more holes per charge, optimizing users’ workflow and furthering DEWALT’s commitment to effective work at the job site.
Ideal for electricians, plumbers, and remodelers, the drill provides ease of use with a Hex Quick-Change Chuck for fast and easy bit changes. It’s available with a 7/16-In. Quick-Change Chuck (DCD445) or a 1/2-In. Quick-Change Chuck (DCD444).
To aid in user control, the E-Clutch System shuts down the tool in a bind-up situation. The drill is also designed with a brushless motor that produces up to 1,800 UWO, an LED light that provides illumination in dark or confined spaces, and is Tool Conect Chip Ready (chip sold separately), allowing for location monitoring on the job site.
* Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.
