Redwood Shores, CA – HP and Oracle have joined forces to provide software, hardware, and services for complete, end-to-end business solutions for midsize companies.

To help midsize industrial manufacturing companies streamline their IT implementations, Oracle and HP have launched the HP and Oracle Consulting Accelerate Solution for Industrial Manufacturing. This validated Oracle Accelerate solution offers complete hardware, software and services to help midsize industrial manufacturers effectively manage and grow their businesses.

Consisting of the Oracle® E-Business Suite Release 12 pre-loaded on HP infrastructure hardware, and created and delivered by Oracle Consulting, the HP and Oracle Consulting Accelerate Solution for Industrial Manufacturing is designed specifically for midsize U.S. businesses with limited resources. This collaborative effort between the two industry leaders provides a scalable, affordable solution with a predictable price, scope and timeline, minimizing the complexity and risk of an IT investment decision.

The new Accelerate Solution is built on HP’s industry-leading, scalable, energy-efficient HP BladeSystem infrastructure and HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays. A range of hardware configurations are available based on the number of Oracle E-Business Suite users. Pre-loaded and pre-configured at HP Factory Express, this offering helps reduce the length of the implementation cycle and accelerate time to value and return on investment. The complete solution is pre-configured, tested, and shipped in just a few weeks enabling a more rapid return on investment.

Oracle Accelerate for Midsize Companies combines Oracle Applications and Business Accelerators with industry- and geography-specific deployment expertise to solve business problems in highly targeted and rapidly deployable packages. It also provides affordable solutions that combine industry-specific enterprise applications and rapid deployment tools with partner product and industry expertise. HP has designed hardware configurations that are complementary to Oracle Accelerate solutions. These right-sized, proven configurations reduce the time and effort required for hardware deployments.

Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) is the world’s largest business software company. For more information about Oracle, visit www.oracle.com.
