An ANSI four-inch digital panel meter called the NTM-N is part of OTEK’s New Technology Series. The NTM-N is a form, fit and function replacement for widely used analog meters such as the GE/Yokogawa DB40, Weschler/Westinghouse k231/k241, Dixson BEW51, Crompton 077, and virtually any meter adhering to the industry standard 4-inch ANSI dimensions.
A single-channel bar-digital meter, the NTM-N is available in loop power (at 4-20 mA), ac signal power, or external power options. Externally powered, the NTM-N can accommodate four relays, isolated DAC, over 30 signal conditioners and isolated input power, as well as Ethernet. Powered by the loop or signal, the NTM-N offers isolated serial I/O options in USB or RS485.
Able to be easily read at a distance of 20 ft, the NTM-N carries a four-digit ultra-bright LED display with an automatic tricolor bar that includes intensity control. Additional features of the model include an input fail alarm with runtime stamp to alert the operator in the event of a dead or lost signal, self-diagnostics, a configurable bar direction with commands for up/down/center
zero, math functions (+, -, x, √, ÷, X-Y tables, polynomials), a 4-20-mA/30-V output, and power requirements of only 100 mW at 5 Vdc.
Like all Otek products, the NTM-N is highly customizable to a host of consumer-driven applications and carries the company’s lifetime warranty.
