Optics play a key role in developing efficient laser beam energy. The new precision CO2 laser-cavity optics promises to improve energy transmission through a CO2 laser‚’s beam delivery system to improve cutting.
The CO2 Laser Cavity Optics include ZnSe output couplers on the front that provide 60-65% reflectivity ‚±0.1% to reflect a percentage of the laser beam back into the resonator for continuous amplification. Rear end reflectors are made from Ge with 99-99.5% reflectivity ‚±0.20% on the inside to reflect nearly all of the laser energy back through the gas mixture.
The optics are available in sizes from 0.5 in. to 2 in. dia. and can be modified and coated to meet specific laser cavity requirements for most popular high power lasers.
